このクラスは、幼稚園の年中さんから１年生のクラスです。
コロナも含め４ヶ月ほどのお休みがありました。ですから通われ始められてから１年から１年弱のお子さまたちです。
先生役をかわりばんこにしながらカード取りゲームを楽しめるようになりました。フォニックスがaからzまで一巡しましたから、これからだんだんと読めるようになる準備の遊び、単語を見せてそれを作る遊びをしています。
The students in this class are 5 years old to 7years old. They have learned English for one year or so. Now they know nearly 200 words and can make sentences with them. They enjoy playing games. They’ve just started reading English words.
It is said that English is have-language and Japanese is be-language. Isn’t it really so? We should see English from new aspects. And I also ask you if ESL methods for those living in English speaking environment are really useful here in Japan.
